The idea behind this website is to have a place for short story writing, a form of writing that has lost popularity with publishers over recent years. I remember reading Ellery Queens Mystery Magazine, and the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, and in fact these journals still exist, but it is a shrinking genre.
In the do-it-yourself spirit of the 21st century I have set about creating this blog, inviting other authors to contribute and waiting for the readers to come and enjoy our work.
To make some sense of the postings it’s probably best to pick an author or a category and start there. Serials are numbered, so if you see a story with a number in the title find the first one and start reading!
